Bobrisky’s legal counsel, Avwerosuoghene Omuvwie, informed the House of Representatives Committee that his client could not attend the committee’s invitation due to illness.
However, the committee pressed for evidence from Bobrisky’s doctor regarding his health, to which the lawyer replied that he did not have such documentation.
Verydarkman, who is currently before the House of Representatives, has refused to testify regarding his allegations, insisting that his lawyer will represent him. His refusal is based on Bobrisky’s absence from the inquiry.
However, committee members have instructed Verydarkman to return and respond to questions, warning that he could face detention by parliament if he does not comply with their demands.
The Chairman stressed that Verydarkman cannot dictate the proceedings, including the issue of Bobrisky’s presence, as that decision rests with the committee.
Chairman of the Committee said: “You are not expected to dictate to us whether Bobrisky comes here or not, it is left to us to decide, we can also compel him to come before us we can invoke our powers to arrest him.

“We can compel Bobrisky to appear before us and even arrest him if necessary,” the Chairman stated.
“Your allegations have led to the invitation of top government officials, so it’s imperative you speak to these allegations.
“You are here already to testify, I will advise you go ahead, don’t let anyone deceive you. To the lawyer please advise your client”
Verydarkman’s refusal to speak has raised concerns, prompting the committee to threaten to exercise its powers if he does not comply.
