Bobrisky Released From Prison After Naira Mutilation Conviction [VIDEO]

The popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been released from prison.

Bobrisky had been convicted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on April 5 for mutilating naira notes.

Okuneye faced four counts of naira abuse and pleaded guilty before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Bobrisky’s release occurred on Monday, August 5, 2024. Following his release, he was seen in a video with friends celebrating and enjoying Mohbad’s and Chike’s song “Egwu.”

Okuneye friends were heard saying, “we are out of prison. Congratulations, Bobrisky.”
