A Nigerian netizen has criticized Bola Tinubu’s administration for its incompetence in handling the country’s insecurity, highlighting a recent incident where Boko Haram kidnapped a Nigerian soldier who died in custody and later buried, with the family only being informed of his passing afterward.
In a viral social media post, the user described the situation as a stark reflection of the government’s failure to protect its citizens and security personnel, tagging Tinubu’s incompetence as a “national discovery.”
Nigerians are expressing growing concern over the escalating insecurity under Bola Tinubu’s administration. Since assuming office, Tinubu has faced criticism over the resurgence of terrorism, kidnappings, and genocide against Christians, particularly in the northeast and northwest regions, where groups like Boko Haram and Fulani militias continue to wreak havoc.

The insecurity crisis is not limited to the northeast. Kidnappings for ransom have surged in states across the northwest and even parts of the south, affecting students, traders, and community leaders. These incidents have fueled debates over the effectiveness of security strategies and the accountability of government agencies tasked with protecting Nigerians.
