A devastating attack has unfolded in Borno State, Nigeria, with armed assailants, suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists, wreaking havoc on the communities of Gatamarwa and Tsiha near Shikarkir in the Chibok local government area. The attackers, reportedly disguised in military attire, have left a trail of destruction, with 11 fatalities and a woman abducted, whose identity remains confidential.

According to reports, the terrorists managed to seize a variety of foodstuffs and livestock, encountering minimal resistance.

This assault follows closely on the heels of a similar onslaught in Chibok just a fortnight ago, where insurgents took two lives, pillaged homes, and set them ablaze.
