Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has given a stunning response following the bolt for Bolt trend that sparked up between the two countries, South Africa and Nigeria.
On Thursday, what started as a prank kicked off when South Africans ordered Bolt rides in Nigeria from South Africa, only to cancel them once the driver arrived at the pick-up location, according to reports.
They allegedly justified their actions by saying that Nigeria’s currency is weak and that they can avoid paying cancellation fees. Some even hinted at reporting fake crimes to police lines next.
In response to what many have described as an acute waste of resources when fuel prices are constantly increasing, some Nigerians started retaliating by also pranking drivers in South Africa.

Reacting to this development, Yesufu took to her official X handle and clearly stated that sometimes, when one is attacked in a violent manner, it’s not time to think of morality rather it is time to fight back.
She wrote,”When you are attacked viciously, it is not time to be thinking of morality. It is time to fight back and crush that attacker until your attacker begs for mercy and peace.
“Then you can afford morality. Otherwise, you give your attacker the enabling environment to be more heinous.
“Yesterday/ this morning Nigeria was attacked and it was not time for morality.
“Now that we have shown each other that we can all think evil but it is discipline that restrain us from doing evil, we can focus on morality,” she said.
