Boniface Scores Twice as Bayer Leverkusen Secures 4-1 Victory Over Hoffenheim

Victor Boniface scored twice as Bayer Leverkusen defeated Hoffenheim 4-1 in an away Bundesliga fixture.

The match saw Leverkusen’s new signing, Martin Terrier, open the scoring in the 17th minute with an assist from Boniface.

He extended the lead on the half-hour mark with a goal set up by Granit Xhaka.

He added Leverkusen’s fourth goal 15 minutes from the end of the match. He was substituted by Patrick Schick four minutes before the final whistle.

Nathan Tella, another Nigerian international, started for Leverkusen and was replaced by Jeremie Frimpong in the 57th minute.

This victory marks Boniface’s first league goal of the season.
