Breaking: FBI Releases First Tranche of Tinubu Drug-related Files

As scheduled, the FBI has initiated the release of documents linked to the Chicago Heroin trafficking ring allegedly involving Bola Tinubu. According to journalist David Hundeyin who announced the release of the first tranche via his verified handle on X, the files include Lee Andrew Edwards, Mueez Akande, Abiodun Agbele, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In response to a FOIA request, the FBI identified about 2,500 pertinent pages. These will be disclosed monthly, starting at the end of October 2023.

This follows initial FBI reluctance, as Aaron Greenspan of PlainSite, along with Nigerian journalist David Hundeyin, led the FOIA request. The disclosure aims to address questions about Tinubu’s U.S. entry, aliases, and activities.

Tinubu’s presence in the U.S. dates to the 1970s, and the records may detail his forfeiture of $460,000 in drug-related incidents in 1990s Chicago. These documents may unravel Tinubu’s early life, including parentage and education details.
