The High Commission of Canada in Nigeria, located at 13010G, Palm Close, Diplomatic Drive, Central Business District in Abuja, is currently experiencing a fire incident. While the cause of the fire remains unclear, pictures circulating online depict smoke emanating from the building.
GIDI took to his X Handle to post a video of the Canadian Embassy in Abuja reportedly on fire.
According to SaharaReporters, the High Commission offers essential visa and immigration services for individuals intending to travel or relocate to Canada. It caters to Canadians visiting and residing in Nigeria, as well as those in Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe.

Among its range of services are assistance with adoption and surrogacy, birth abroad, citizenship procedures, marriage abroad, passport facilitation, notarial services, educational programs abroad, as well as visa and immigration support.
