A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has argued former President Muhammadu Buhari laid a solid foundation for Bola Tinubu to build on.
Igbokwe said Nigerians should reject claims that Buhari was a failure because his footprints and gains are visible for all to see.
He posted on his Facebook page: “Let nobody living or dead run away with the thinking that PMB is a failure. Perish the thought.
“He laid the solid foundation for PBAT to build on. We are seeing the footprints and the gains today.”
This follows a statement from former Presidential Special Adviser on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu, who remarked that Buhari lacked vision.
Ojudu attributed Buhari’s lack of support for former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s presidential bid to this perceived absence of vision.
Nevertheless, he acknowledged Buhari as a patriot and an incorruptible leader.
