A Cameroonian has slammed political commentator Reno Omokri for his remarks mocking Nigerians struggling with the high cost of eggs to get a hen and feed it corn daily to ensure a steady supply of eggs.
Recall that in response to escalating food prices, Omokri told Nigerians to adopt self-sufficiency practices rather than venting frustrations online.
In a post on his official X handle, Omokri stated, “If a crate of eggs is now too expensive for you, the solution is not to come online and attack the government. That is not a solution. That is just emotion. Get a hen and give it corn. Every day, it will lay eggs for you.
“If you have no pepper or tomatoes, insulting Tinubu will not solve the issue. Go to your backyard and plant vegetables. They will grow. 54% of Britain’s population do it. 51% of Americans do it. If we in Nigeria also do it, we will not die. Instead, we will thrive! Contribute to the economy before you attribute all your problems to Tinubu!”

In a satirical response, a Cameroonian known on X as Princess Luna mocked Omokri’s comments by stating, “If your Dog is too Expensive, Get Reno and Give it Bone.”
However, this response led to her being blocked by Omokri on the X platform.
