Chance The Rapper, Wife Kristen Corley Announce Divorce, Agree to Share Joint Legal Custody of Daughters

American rapper Chance The Rapper and his wife, Kristen Corley, have announced their decision to divorce after a period of separation.

The couple shared a joint statement via the rapper’s Instagram account on Wednesday, expressing their gratitude for the time spent together.

The statement disclosed that they will maintain joint legal custody of their two daughters.

The statement partly read, “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.

“God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together,” the statement added.

The couple’s relationship has seen its ups and downs. They welcomed their first child, Kensli, in 2015 while still dating.

Despite a breakup in 2016, they reconciled in 2018 and tied the knot in March 2019. Subsequently, they joyously announced the arrival of their second daughter, Marli, in September 2019.
