Chef Dammy Reportedly Arrested After Petition From Pastor

A renowned Ondo-based chef, popularly called Chef Dammy, on Thursday, was reportedly arrested by the Zone 17 Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) following a petition filed against her by her pastor.

The grounds for the pastor’s petition remain unclear.

According to information from a social critic Oluyemi Fasipe on his X handle, the Zone 17 Headquarters, located in Akure, has a history of questionable practices and alleged corruption.

This information has been corroborated by individuals who have had personal encounters with the station.

“That police station has a history of extremely corrupt practices and I am speaking from personal experience. I urge her family to speak out in case the right of Dammy is abused at any point,” he posted.

The Ondo Police Command has not yet reacted to the development at the time of filing this report.
