Super Falcons’ goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named The confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for 2025, marking her third consecutive win of the prestigious award.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper received the honour on Wednesday at the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony held in Rabat, Morocco.

She beat Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to claim the accolade, further cementing her status as Africa’s top female goalkeeper
Nnadozie enjoyed an outstanding year with both club and country.
At Paris FC, she played a key role in securing the Coupe de France Féminine, while internationally, she helped the Super Falcons secure their record-extending 10th WAFCON title.

During the tournament, she kept four clean sheets and was named the best goalkeeper.
Following WAFCON, Nnadozie joined Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League, making an immediate impact by earning a Player of the Match award on her debut.
She has also received multiple nominations, including the WSL Save of the Month and PFA Fans’ Player of the Month awards.
This latest CAF recognition adds to Nnadozie’s growing list of accolades, highlighting her as one of the most promising and influential talents in women’s football today
