A large group of children aged 10 to 17 joined a nationwide protest in Maiduguri, Borno State, yesterday, defying threats and intimidation from police.

Under heavy security, the children, along with other protesters, demonstrated on the major Kano road in the Bulunkutu area, voicing their dissatisfaction with the Tinubu administration.

The children carried placards with messages such as “End the Bad Governance,” “Bama so (We don’t want),” and “We are hungry.”
