The China General Chambers of Commerce (CGCC) has announced increased investments in Nigeria.
At the 3rd Belt and Road China-Nigeria Economic and Trade Exhibition in Abuja, the Deputy General Manager of CCECC Nigeria Limited, Mr Liu Jiang, emphasized China’s commitment to enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
Highlighting completed projects in oil, infrastructure, manufacturing, and more, Liu stressed the collaborative potential for Chinese and Nigerian enterprises.
The Belt and Road initiative, aimed at fostering global connectivity, was discussed, with Liu underlining its positive impact on Sino-Nigerian relations.
Hon. Jaafaru Yakubu, representing the Speaker of the House of Representatives, expressed gratitude for the initiative’s contributions to Nigeria’s economic and infrastructural development.

Recognizing China’s investment in Nigerian transportation infrastructure, Yakubu emphasized the Belt and Road Initiative’s role in facilitating trade and economic integration.
With Nigeria as a key participant in the initiative, the Federal House of Representatives pledged continued legislative support to strengthen diplomatic ties.
