COP28: After Backlash From Nigerians, Confused FG Breaks Silence On Dubai Climate Junket

In a sudden twist of numbers, Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, revealed that the Federal Government sponsored 422 individuals to participate in the ongoing COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, UAE.

Idris made this known in a statement on Monday following a controversy trailing 1,411 Nigerian registered delegates at the summit.

Bola Tinubu had left Abuja on November 29, 2023, for the summit scheduled to conclude on December 12, 2023.
