The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, have stated that other countries are envious of Nigeria.
He made this statement while revealing that some of the terrorists arrested in the Northeast were caught with foreign currencies.
Musa disclosed this in an interview with Channels TV.
He noted that sometimes, the bloodthirsty criminals “get funding from kidnapping, armed robbery and all these things they do but you can’t rule out the possibility of external funding.”
His words,”“When we arrested some of them in the Northeast, they were having hard currencies to change. How did they get those monies?
“People don’t understand that a lot of countries are envious of Nigeria. I remember that some people said we were not going to survive more than 2015 but this is 2025 and we are still surviving.
“People have to understand that not everyone is happy with you, that you are developing.”
