The FCT High Court has made a significant ruling in the trial of the former Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Mohammed Bello Adoke.
Justice Abubakar Kutigi has dismissed the charges of fraud, bribery, and conspiracy brought against Adoke by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In response to Adoke’s “no case” submission, Justice Kutigi stated that the EFCC failed to sufficiently substantiate its allegations of fraud, bribery, and money laundering. Consequently, he ruled that the defendant has no case to answer.
