In a recent development, the embattled former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been granted bail by the Federal Capital Territory High Court.
Delivering a ruling on the bail application filed by Emefiele, presiding judge Olukayode Adeneiyi ordered the federal government to release the former CBN governor to his attorneys.
They equally ordered the lawyers to ensure that he is made available for arraignment whenever he is needed.

Emefiele was also instructed to deposit all of his travel documentation with the court’s registra.
