Kalu Kalu, the lawyer for Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, accused Bola Tinubu on Thursday of presenting a falsified degree certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the 2023 election.
Following the release of the president’s academic records by Chicago State University to his legal team, Kalu made this claim during a press conference that Atiku Abubakar held on Thursday, October 5.
At the press conference, when asked what Mr Atiku’s legal team would do with the Chicago State University documents released to them by the university containing Tinubu’s academic records, the legal expert was upbeat about the litany of evidence contained in the documents depicting the facts that Mr Tinubu forged the certificate he submitted to INEC, indulged in identity theft, and committed perjury.
Mr Kalu said, “From the documents at our disposal, we can ascertain that Bola Tinubu forged the certificate he presented to INEC”.
He went further to explain that the document Tinubu submitted to INEC was disowned by CSU and was not issued by the school, nor did CSU give permission to a third party to issue the certificate submitted by Tinubu to INEC.
Kalu further explained that the CSU documents show that Tinubu’s certificate from Southwest College, which qualifies him to apply to CSU, bears a female identity, which invariably means it does not belong to Bola Tinubu.
Mr Atiku’s Lawyer said further that the CSU admission application form has a claim that Bola A. Tinubu attended Government College Lagos and graduated in 1970, when the school was established in 1974.
Bola Tinubu attended a secondary school that was nonexistent, a furious Kalu told the audience at the press conference.
In his explanation, Kalu also quipped that, in the CSU document, Bola Tinubu applied to CSU as an American citizen, while on his INEC form, he denied holding any other citizenship at any point in time.
Kalu Kalu also claimed that the “A” in the middle of Tinubu’s name in the Chicago documents is Ahmed, but the documents he submitted to INEC have Adekunle.
The recent revelations made by Atiku Abubakar’s Lawyer, Kalu Kalu, have seriously questioned the integrity of the 2023 election and President Bola Tinubu’s credibility.
The evidence, sourced from Chicago State University documents, highlights grave accusations of forgery, identity theft, and perjury against Bola Tinubu.
The documents reveal glaring discrepancies between what the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) received and what CSU disclosed.
Tinubu’s alleged fabrication of an academic certificate, his false claims about attending a non-existent secondary school, and the alteration of his name in official records reveal a disturbing attempt to deceive both the electoral commission, Nigerians, and the general public.
Additionally, the revelation that he applied to CSU as an American citizen while denying dual citizenship on his INEC form raises serious questions about his honesty and transparency as president.
