Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, the member of the House of Representatives for Ideato, has criticized top members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for allegedly working in favor of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and prioritizing personal gains.
Drawing a stark contrast with Ghana where the opposition recently defeated the ruling government and paved the way for John Mahama’s return to power, Ugochinyere criticized Nigerian opposition leaders for publicly aligning with the ruling APC.
He accused some PDP officials, including Acting Chairman Iliya Damagun and Secretary Samuel Anyanwu, alongside certain opposition governors, of prioritizing personal gains such as land and petty cash over party principles.
In his words, “Shamelessness and Stupidity are Officially in Every Aspect of our Lives. Just a few hours ago, the opposition in Ghana defeated the ruling govt with John Mahama on the way back to the office, but in Nigeria, Opposition party officials and some leaders, because of little hunger for plots of land and petty cash, are publicly supporting the ruling govt and working closely with a minister in the ruling APC government including some of the opposition governors.

“Being stupid and shameless is now official in Nigeria, and that is the same stupid mentality they misgovern the people with. Shame! Shame! No PDP person should be celebrating Opposition victory in Ghana while watching the leaders of Nigeria Opposition especially the Imposter/Usurper called PDP Acting Chairman Damagun and Secretary Samuel Anyawu alongside few Governors Publicly working for the victory of the Ruling APC, signing documents for destruction of some Opposition States, appointing loyalist of APC party as officials of PDP, Exhibiting more loyalty to an APC govt Minister than the Party Constitution etc. Might PDP is at the mercy of shameless hungry political outlaws. However, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) recently expelled Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere.
Ugochinyere was expelled from the PDP for gross indiscipline, insubordination, and anti-party activities, with the expulsion confirmed in a letter dated December 5, 2024, from the Ideato LGA chapter of PDP, signed by Chairman Hon. ThankGod Okeke and Secretary Onyebuchi Umeh.
