Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N990 per litre to N970 per litre.
This adjustment takes effect immediately for marketers across the country.
The Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, stated in a press release today that the decision is part of the company’s end-of-year gesture to thank Nigerians for their unwavering encouragement in making the refinery’s vision a reality.
He also expressed gratitude to the government for its backing, emphasizing that such measures strengthen domestic economic activities and promote collective well-being.
Chiejina reaffirmed the refinery’s commitment to delivering top-quality, environmentally friendly, and sustainable petroleum products. He assured the public that production levels would continue to rise to meet and surpass local fuel demands, dispelling concerns about potential shortages.
