DECEIT: Reps Blame Bureaucratic Delays for 50% Salary Deduction Implementation Amid Hardship Protests

The House of Representatives has addressed the reason behind the delay in implementing the promised 50 percent salary reduction aimed at easing Nigerians’ hardship.

According to House spokesperson Mr. Akin Rotimi, the delay was caused by bureaucratic bottlenecks within the National Assembly.

He assured that the House remains committed to the resolution passed on July 18, which mandated the salary cut from July to December 2024.
