Mass Defection Hits PDP in Abia As Entire Ward Exco Defects

In a startling turn of events, the entire executive committee members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Item Ward C, in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, have resigned from the party.

The exodus was revealed in a letter directed to the chairman of the PDP in Bende Local Government Area, with copies sent to the Abia chairman and the Acting National chairman of the party.

The chairman of the ward, Francis Eke Okoye, spearheaded the mass resignation, citing the turbulent state of affairs within the national leadership of the party as the primary catalyst for their decision. Additionally, they voiced their solidarity with their leader and former presidential aspirant in the PDP, Rt Hon Cosmos Ndukwe, who recently severed ties with the party.
