JUST IN: Documents in Ganduje Corruption Trial Stolen During #EndBadGovernance Protests – Kano Government Reveals

Critical documents related to the corruption trial of former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje have been reported stolen following an invasion of the Kano State High Court during the recent #EndbadgovernanceinNigeria protests.

The protests, which have been part of the broader national movement against bad governance, reportedly escalated into violence as demonstrators stormed the court.

Amid the chaos, documents tied to the ongoing legal proceedings against Ganduje, his wife Hafsat, their son Umar Abdullahi, and five others were allegedly taken.

The Kano State government, which had previously filed eight counts of misappropriation and fund diversion against Ganduje and his co-accused, has expressed deep concern over the theft.
