Lazarus Muoka, pastor of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, has warned members and followers against bringing ill-gotten or fraudulent money as offerings and donations to the church
The charismatic preacher issued this warning during a two-day revival at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos State.
The event, titled “Wonderful Move of God as of Old,” was organized to renew the faith of believers in God’s enduring power and to bring blessings to individuals and the nation.
The revival started on Saturday with testimonies, deliverance sessions, and prayers for the faithful, and concluded on Sunday with a celebration.
During his sermon at the event, Pastor Muoka emphasized that bad money remains bad money and should not be used as offerings or donations in the church.
He explained that the pursuit of wealth has led many people to engage in practices displeasing to God, and therefore, such ill-gotten gains should not be offered in support of God’s work.
“Don’t invite God’s wrath by smearing the holy temple with fraudulent wealth, for it is an abomination unto God.
“Rather, make restitution and seek repentance and be saved now before it is late,” he said.

Earlier at the event, Udoka Amakaeze, a former inmate, shared his testimony of being acquitted and released from the Badagry Correctional Centre after turning to God.
Amakaeze explained that he found repentance through the Chosen Prison Outreach, which ministered to him during his time in custody.
He added that following his encounter with God, his case received divine intervention, leading to his eventual freedom.
