Nigeria’s D’Tigress defeated Australia’s Opals in their opening match at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Led by Rena Wakama, the Nigerian team delivered a spirited performance to secure a 75-62 victory at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium on Monday.
This win marks the team’s first Olympic victory since the Athens 2004 Games.
