Dying Agriculture In North; Deliberate Attempt By Tinubu Govt To Cripple Region — Arewa Farmer

A northern professional farmer, Mallam Jabir has attributed the dying agriculture in the region to deliberate attempt by Bola Tinubu government to Cripple the Region and push more people into multidimensional poverty.

Nigeria’s northern region is facing significant challenges in agriculture, with many farmers abandoning their lands due to insecurity, climate change, and poor infrastructure.

The region, which produces a substantial share of the country’s grains and livestock, has been hit hard by droughts, floods, and banditry, leading to food shortages and economic losses.

Taking to X to express his displeasure on the situation, the farmer, Jabir said the dying agriculture in the region known for its prowess in food production is not by accident but rather a situation orchestrated by Tinubu government to intentionally destroyed agriculture.

According to him, the government policies made farming impossible and have pushed many farmers into hopelessness and forced countless others out of the business entirely.

He described the situation as an attack on survival, livelihoods and food security, this is as he called on Nigerians to send the government out of power.
