Earning N29 Million Per Month as Politician in Nigeria is Never Big Deal — Former Senator Abbo

Former Senator, Ishaku Elisha Abbo has pronounced N29 million salary of a Nigerian senator a very minute amount.

Abbo made this statement during an interview programme on Arise TV on Monday.

According to him, N29 million looks big on paper but it is not humongous.

“Today, it is N29million. N29 million looks big just on paper. I’m saying this as a very honest man.

“I’m not trying to support National Assembly an institution so vilified and have been a member of that vilified institution for 5 years.

“I am not siding with them but I’ll bear the fact on the table. The money is not humongous, just on paper,” he stated.
