In a proactive move to ensure the integrity of the upcoming governorship election in Kogi state, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has dispatched its officers to monitor the electoral process scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Confirming the deployment, EFCC’s spokesman, Dele Oyewale, emphasized the necessity of mobilizing resources to safeguard the electoral process and checkmate electoral fraud and associated financial crimes.

Oyewale stated, “The Commission’s monitoring operations are to tackle any form of voter’s inducement through vote buying, vote selling and other manipulation of the electoral processes at variance with the Electoral Act.”
