EFCC Remains Silent as Betta Edu Reportedly Stages Comeback

After a turbulent six months investigating, Dr Betta Edu, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, for corruption allegations, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) now faces speculation about her impending comeback, signalling uncertain waters ahead.

The embattled minister, who is officially suspended, appears to have been left alone by the anti-graft agency as she yesterday wrote an official message of condolence on the ministry’s letterhead over the recent Jos school building collapse.

In a post on her X account @edu_betta, Edu also posted a screenshot of her condolence message on the website. In her post, Edu offered condolences to all those affected.
