A viral post by social commentator Nasiru, known as Nasboi, has sparked nationwide debate after he suggested that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) apply its resources to tackling bandits.
In the post, Nasboi wrote, “As Efcc sabi catch boys, they should just use dem to catch bandits.”
Nigerians quickly flooded the thread with reactions, questioning why the EFCC focuses heavily on internet fraudsters while violent criminals continue to terrorise communities.
