EFCC Warns Nigerians to Reject Financial Crimes in 2025, Vows to Tear Down Towers of Corruption

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has urged Nigerians to shun corrupt practices in 2025, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in combating economic and financial crimes.

In his New Year message delivered in Abuja, EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, highlighted that the nation’s progress and development are contingent on fighting corruption. He stressed that rejecting corruption is essential for improving the quality of life for all Nigerians and advancing the economy.

Olukoyede called on citizens to seize the opportunities the new year presents to recommit to values of transparency, accountability, and integrity.

He emphasized that progress and development could be achieved through the support of anti-corruption initiatives.

Olukoyede stated, “We can make any progress and development we want for our nation to happen by our support for anti-corruption initiatives.

“The new year is offering us fresh opportunities to recommit ourselves to the ideals of transparency, accountability and probity.

“The commanding heights of the economy and improvement in our lives can only be driven by our dedication to integrity and accountable conduct.

“Our work is more than a vocation but a patriotic calling. We know this and will always offer our best to move the nation forward.
