Erik Ten Hag Losses Dressing Room Amidst Negative Player’s Treatment – Former Striker Alan Brazil

Former Manchester United striker Alan Brazil revealed that Erik Ten Hag has lost the dressing room at Manchester United following the way he handled the Cristiano Ronaldo situation and Jadon Sancho’s recent expulsion from the team.

Brazil made this known. While speaking to talkSPORT, the former player said, “This is what I’ve been hearing from a Manchester United player who told someone I know very well. He said the players do not have a manager. They’re not having him at all. By all accounts, they are disgusted by the way he treated Ronaldo, and they say Sancho is a great guy who works his socks off.”

Recall that Erik Ten Hag resumed at Manchester United with Cristiano Ronaldo in the squad. Erik Ten Hag had issues with Cristiano Ronaldo and dropped Ronaldo to the bench in the first half of the 2022–23 season. The United’s coach would sometimes ask the forward to go warm up during games without bringing him in as a substitute.

In no time, Cristiano Ronaldo left the club for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr in late November, but he left an explosive interview on Manchester United’s reputation as a club as well as Erik Ten Hag, who had frozen the player out of the club.

Furthermore, Erik Ten Hag has once again had a fallout with Jadon Sancho for the season 2023–24 after criticizing the player’s attitude during training and not meeting the coach’s demands in training. Open criticism of the player (Sancho) led to an open reply from the player.

This has led to a series of egoistic attitudes from both parties. It has been reported that Sancho will not be drafted back into the squad until he issues an apology. On the other hand, the player doesn’t seem to be ready to issue an apology.

Erik Ten Hag’s management has been questioned following the manner in which he managed these two issues with his players, which is said to have influenced the relationship in the dressing room.

Manchester United’s performances in the ongoing campaign have not been encouraging following a recent loss of two straight home games to Crystal Palace and Galatasaray. They currently hold the 10th position after gathering just 12 points from 8 games. In the Premier League.

Reportedly, Ten Hag is rumored to be bored of Sancho’s “disruptive” behavior, which is why United is ready to sell him during the winter transfer window. Since moving for £72 million ($88 million) from Borussia Dortmund to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021, the 23-year-old has fallen short of expectations, scoring only nine goals in 55 Premier League games.

He has been mentioned in connection with a return to Dortmund, and Juventus is also rumored to be planning a move for him.
