UEFA has sent home two Spanish referees from Euro 2024 following complaints about their officiating.
According to UK Metro, the referees are Alejandro Hernandez and Jesus Gil Manzano.
Hernandez faced criticism as the VAR official who ignored Scotland’s penalty claim in their 1-0 loss to Hungary last Sunday.

Manzano was faulted for his mistake in France’s 1-0 victory over Austria.
As a result, neither referee will participate in the tournament’s knockout stages.
Additionally, Manzano’s assistants, Diego Barbero and Angel Nevado, have also been dismissed.
Consequently, Spain’s sole representative for the remainder of Euro 2024 is VAR official Martinez Munuera.
