A former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, has lost his son, Muhammed, on Wednesday morning, just after the Eid prayers.
According to report, Muhammad slumped and gave up the ghost at his residence in Abuja.
The elder brother of the deceased, Abubakar Idris, who confirmed the death, expressed sadness over Muhammed’s death.

In his words, “It’s true. He died this morning shortly after coming back to his residence just after the Eid prayers. He will be buried on Wednesday at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja.”
Muhammed was a member of the House of Representatives between 2007 and 2011.
