Football transfer market expert David Ornstein has reported that Victor Osimhen’s stock has recently diminished.
Ornstein noted that the competition for the Napoli striker, who is a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, is expected to continue until the transfer deadline.
Osimhen, who has expressed a desire to leave Napoli, may soon be on the move following Chelsea’s transfer of striker Romelu Lukaku to Napoli. This development suggests that Osimhen could be transferring out in the coming days.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles striker has attracted interest from several clubs this summer, including Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli, in addition to Arsenal and Chelsea. Ornstein indicated that the player’s future remains uncertain.
Ornstein stated as per TBR, “Victor Osimhen is one to watch right up until the deadline.
‘It would be remarkable to see him leave on loan, his stock has fallen a bit, options and obligations, could a permanent deal happen?
“Or does it not happen at all? He has to move by the sounds of it. PSG have been interested, but I don’t know if they will pursue it any further,” he added.
