Explosives Discovered in Vehicle Near Donald Trump Rally Site in Long Island After Assassination Attempt

Law enforcement officials have reportedly discovered explosives in a vehicle near a rally site on Long Island where Donald Trump was scheduled to speak on Wednesday evening.

This news follows a recent security breach at his Palm Beach golf club, where an attempted assassin was arrested.

Sources within the Nassau County Police Department reportedly told One America News Network that the perimeter of the rally site was breached and a blue barrel was removed.

Following this, a K9 sweep allegedly discovered explosive devices in a vehicle, and the driver then fled into the woods.

“No one saw if he had anything on him, they just saw him take off running. A lot of cars are now parking, they’re lining up on Hempstead Turnpike, just parking on the grass. Even over at Eisenhower Park, they’re just parking over there,” the source told James Lalino of One America News.

Trump fans were expected to attend a rally at Nassau Coliseum, with a large crowd already gathered, and some even camping overnight before the 7 p.m. start time.

The former president has mostly shifted to indoor events following an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, where Thomas Matthew Crooks, the would-be assassin, was killed by Secret Service agents, and Trump was injured in the right ear.

Over the weekend, a gunman with an AK-47 pointed it at Trump while he was playing golf at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach. Secret Service agents fired at the suspect, who also had a GoPro camera and backpack, while Trump was safely evacuated.

On Monday, police released a video showing Ryan Wesley Routh’s arrest. He struggled with officers as they restrained him. Routh is accused of pointing a gun at Trump during the golf game.

Authorities tracked him down after a witness saw him leaving in a stolen black Nissan SUV. It is believed that Routh may have been hiding in the bushes of the golf course for 12 hours before the attempt.

On Monday morning, he was charged with two offenses: possession of a firearm as a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

Trump has blamed both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for the rhetoric he believes has contributed to the increase in violence against him.
