Outdoor Speakers Should Be Removed In Political Party Offices, Nightclubs, Birthdays, Weddings—Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani has told the Enugu State governor to extend the removal of outdoor speakers to political party offices, birthdays, nightclubs and even wedding.

Recall that on August 15, the Enugu State Government issued a directive to all churches and mosques in the state, mandating the removal of outdoor loudspeakers within 90 days.

Reacting to such directive Sani took to his X handle on Friday to express his opinion about the issue.

He first of all acknowledged that the directive to remove the speakers in both mosque and churches is an indication that there is no partiality.

However, he added that the outdoor speakers should not only be removed in churches and mosque but it should be removed in night clubs, political office etc.

He wrote, “The Enugu state directive against ‘noise pollution’ took on both Churches and mosques,so it can’t be said to be biased.

“They only need to add nightclubs,political party offices, wedding and Birthday parties to make it complete.

“No need for noise “Enugu is in the hands of God,” he said.
