Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has urged Arsenal to consider signing Victor Osimhen when the January transfer window opens.
Ferdinand believes the Nigerian forward could be the solution to Arsenal’s attacking woes, with the team failing to score from open play in their last four matches.
The Gunners, who currently sit third in the Premier League table behind Liverpool and Chelsea, have struggled for consistency upfront this season.
Speaking in an interview with Football Transfers, Ferdinand said, “Now, you ain’t having a number nine that’s coming on impacting games.
“But I don’t even think you’ve got to buy an Osimhen, although I would buy Osimhen. You’ve got to buy someone who can come in and impact games,” Ferdinand told Football Transfers.
