President William Ruto is set to engage Kenyans on popular social media platform known as X, formerly Twitter, on Friday, 5th of July.
He made it known through his X space handle, that the session is to be conducted and will run from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Ruto called for dialogue with the protesting youth to discuss pressing national matters, among them unemployment and the high cost of living with the country.
Although, a section of the youth on the X platform have however vowed to boycott the conversation, retorting that they have already made their issues known to him over the course of the protests.

However, the the dialogue is amidst the backdrop of the recent wave of anti-government demonstrations in the country.
