Fintiri Condemns Fatal Clash Between Army and Police in Adamawa

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, expressed deep regret over the violent clash between Nigerian Army and Police operatives at the police command headquarters in Yola North Local Government Area.

The incident, occurring on Wednesday, resulted in the tragic death of one Police Inspector Jacob Daniel, prompting panic among local residents.In response to the disturbing development, Governor Fintiri convened an emergency security meeting in Yola.

Following the meeting, he stated, “The conflict near Target Junction has been resolved, with a commitment to justice and collaboration for the peace of Adamawa and Nigeria.”

The governor extended condolences for the loss of an officer from both sides and urged restraint to prevent a recurrence.Fintiri emphasized the need for justice and collaboration during the meeting.
