A fire outbreak that occurred in the early hours of Monday at a residential building in the Adealu area of Lagos has left one person dead.

The fire reportedly started from the rear flat on the upper floor of a storey building with four flats with two bedrooms each.

The statement, signed by the director of the service, Margaret Adeseye, said the fire was confined to the flat where it originated and was eventually put out by the firefighters.
