Again, Flood Cuts Off Another Highway In Bauchi

Again, a severe flood has created a large crater in the middle of a federal highway connecting Kano to Maiduguri, specifically between Malori and Guskuri villages in Katagum Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

The incident, which occurred barely two weeks after a downpour severely damaged the road, has forced motorists to seek alternative routes.

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, who inspected the affected area, expressed concerns over the situation and reported it to the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, who had visited the site last week when the road was initially threatened.
