The All Progressives Congress APC Youth Leader in Abia State, Hyde Kalu, has begged for mercy and forgiveness from Atiku Abubakar to withdraw his case against Tinubu in US Court in a bid to avoid possible global embarrassment and negative attention that Tinubu academic controversies could drag Nigeria into.
The PDP Presidential Candidate Abubaker Atiku filed a case in US Court and has been granted what he prayed for: the release of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s academic records from Chicago State University, as he continues to pester on unraveling the alleged controversies about Tinubu’s educational qualifications in the US.
The youth leader emphasizes the need to beg for forgiveness from Atiku “because the issue is already generating negative attention in Nigeria and across the globe, and Atiku should save the country from this embarrassment.”. Kalu said, “It is quite unfortunate that the pride of Nigeria has been dragged to a point of ridicule in the comity of nations.”
“Atiku is a statesman, and it is not in contention that he has the love of Nigeria at heart. I am sure that no Nigerian is happy with the way our country has been ridiculed over the court ruling in the United States.”
Continuing, he said, “For the love of this country and to spare Nigerians the shame of how this process may end, it is important that we plead with Atiku to drop that case and not allow us to wash our dirty lines in public. We are parties, and I believe that we can have a decent way of handling his matter and save Nigerians the shame of this impending embarrassment”.
He stated that Atiku should accept that the time for the election is over and that the present faith at hand should be accepted for the sake of the country. He said, “The elections have come and gone, and a president has emerged. We are all humans, and that is why I’m pleading with Atiku to discontinue the case in America for the sake of the country and in consideration of the friendship between him and President Tinubu.”
We recall that Bola Ahmed Tinubu had pleaded for mercy, in which he cited that “severe and irreplaceable damage” would happen to him if the order of the magistrate court got granted. However, Mr. Abubaker Atiku has insisted on revealing the alleged controversies.
“Election is over”… Big fool
