Four Lives Lost in Nasarawa Supermarket Attack

Four individuals have been reportedly killed in a tragic supermarket robbery that unfolded in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The event, which took place on Tuesday in the north-central state, was confirmed by Ramhan Nansel, the spokesperson for the Nasarawa State Police Command, as reported by Channels Televison on Wednesday.

Nansel stated that the Command was informed at 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday about an attack on Wisdom supermarket at One Man Village by four armed men.

The assailants fired shots at the customers during the course of the robbery, leading to the unfortunate deaths of four individuals.

In response to the incident, the state’s Police Commissioner, Umar Nadada, dispatched officers to the location. The victims were subsequently transported to the Mararraba Medical Center, as reported by the police spokesperson.

Furthermore, the police commissioner instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Police, who oversees the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department in Lafia, to conduct a thorough investigation at the incident site.
