The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has advised the Edo State Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, against probing the outgoing administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki.
Ganduje offered this guidance during Okpebholo’s courtesy visit to the APC National Working Committee (NWC).
Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State, emphasised that the recent election was a democratic choice, urging Okpebholo to concentrate on implementing his governance agenda rather than looking into Obaseki’s tenure.
He encouraged Okpebholo to direct his energy toward the socio-economic development of Edo State, urging him to “focus on the manifesto” and “build bridges” with key stakeholders.
He encouraged Okpebholo not to look back, saying it is incorrect to be wasting time-fighting the person “you took over from, there is no need”.

“Focus on the manifesto you painstakingly produced, follow it to the letter with the socio-economic development of the people, and build bridges.
“Establish good relationships with the stakeholders, think forward and be an action governor, ” Ganduje added.
