The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, has charged troops across the nation to intensify their fight against criminals in Nigeria.
Musa made this known during the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Social and Award Evening for Soldiers, Ratings, and Airmen held in Abuja on Sunday.
He explained the importance of a proactive approach to security, stressing that 2025 must mark a turning point in the military’s operations against insecurity.
He called on commanders to lead the charge in creating significant progress in counter-terrorism, banditry, and other security challenges.
His words,”We are not where we want to be, but we’re heading there, and I can assure you that by working together, we shall overcome all acts of evil.
“Our task is to look for the bad guys and take them down. We must step out of the temple, look for the criminals wherever they enter, and go after them.”
