Gov Radda Calls on Wealthy Nigerians to Build Schools, Mosques

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has called on wealthy Nigerians to invest in building schools and mosques to promote moral values and foster societal development.

Speaking on Friday at the inauguration of a newly constructed Juma’at Mosque in Sandamu Local Government Area, the governor stressed the importance of establishing both Islamic and Western-style schools, describing them as essential institutions for character building and education.

The mosque was donated by retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Mustapha Bala-Sandamu, whom the governor commended for his philanthropic gesture. Mr Radda urged other affluent individuals and public officers to emulate the AIG’s example.

The Emir of Daura, Umar Faruk-Umar, expressed gratitude to Mr Bala-Sandamu on behalf of the Sandamu community and the Daura Emirate. The emir inaugurated the mosque’s imam, deputy imam, and committee members, urging them to maintain the facility and uphold its purpose.
