Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has removed Bolaji Oreagba from the position of General Manager at the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
The governor promptly appointed Bakare Oki Olalekan as the interim GM of LASTMA.
The announcement of this change was made in a statement by Olawale Musa, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation.
Musa clarified that Bakare-Oki’s appointment aims to enhance performance and sustain effective traffic management on Lagos roads.
Prior to this role, Bakare-Oki served as the Deputy Director in the Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA.
Governor Sanwo-Olu conveyed his congratulations to Bakare-Oki for his new role and expressed gratitude to the outgoing General Manager for his dedicated service to the state.
